God Knows (Poem)
The scourges of the heart.
This Poem narrates how the pain and struggles of life can often feel overwhelming and never-ending. It can be tough to keep a smile on our faces when we are faced with so much adversity. Our eyes can betray us, revealing the true weight of our suffering. Life can teach us many lessons, but it can also be unforgiving. We learn to cope in different ways, whether it's taking notes or finding solace in the art that surrounds us. Sometimes, though, it feels like we are living in a horror movie, with monsters lurking around every corner. It can be a never-ending battle, but we must hold on to hope and the possibility of happiness. Even in the midst of pain and darkness, there is still beauty to be found. We must cling to the light and hold onto love, for it is what will ultimately help us survive.
This uplifted my spirit: amidst pain and chaos there’s still beauty to be found, indeed there’s light at the end of the tunnel!
